Opening Weekend Goes From Bad to Great
Barry Manilow’s opening weekend was a wirlwind. Hours before his Paris premier surge caused $150,000 in damages to the computer program systems in the sound and lighting control panes. It pushed the Friday night premiere to Saturday night after Barry agreed to a second Saturday performance. The staff spent all night Friday and part of Saturday fixing the problems.
The reviews of the new show were very positive. Barry Manilow told stories about his grandfather’s influence on his music. Barry entertained the crowd by playing his first recording of “Happy Birthday”. He appeared in his encore in a tuxedo for “Copacabana”. His voice sounds great the the orchestra sounded flawless
st he’s ever sounded. The show is a must see. Make sure to visit Barry Manilow Las Vegas for the latest info and to purchase Barry Manilow Las Vegas Tickets.
